Experimental Nail Design

The other day I was at Michael's (a craft store) looking for items I could use in possible nail designs. I came across these slivers of foil looking metallic pieces (it is hard to describe). I got multiple colors, but in this manicure, I am sporting a turquoise color. I paired it with yellow dried nail art flowers over OPI What's with the Cattitude? This manicure was a total experiment. I think it looks neat. The final product left the nail with a rough texture. It was not smooth. So what do you think of this experimental manicure? Would you wear it?

Thanks everyone! It does have a textured feeling and it did catch on clothing and such (but not too bad)... But it was worth wearing... I got stopped by several strangers and coworkers the next day because they wanted to see my nails... It is flashy haha! But then again, I love flashy bold nails!

The color combo is awesome.. I love abstract designs like this. I don't think I'd wear it just because of the texture lol, but it looks sooo cute!!

I LOVE how it looks on you, I don't know if I could handle the roughness though! Maybe I could learn to deal with it?

I love it! Using those foil pieces was brilliant, the end result is SO pretty. If you're trying to get rid of the roughness, try Gelous Nail Gel before you put a topcoat on. It works wonders on gritty glitters and polishes that dry rough :)
