Today, I have a mix and match mani to share! I'm not sure how I feel about it. It is a bit dark for my taste! What do you think?

Pinky: I used two coats of GOSH Golo (the perfect silver holo polish!). I stamped on the nail design with Kleancolor Black and You Mix Cosmetics Stamping Plate I. Photos show one coat of top coat.

Ring: I used the Julep Nail Decals. The design of the decal is awesome, but I found them difficult to use. You can see how crappy my application was in the photos. It was hard for me to file away the excess at the tip of my nail and to get the placement correct. The decal buckled a little too. I don't usually have good luck with using nail decals, so I am confident it is user error haha... Have you tried them before? Any good tips? (Photos show one coat of top coat over the decal.)

Middle: I used ManGlaze Matte is Murder. I love ManGlaze! They have the best matte polishes! They go on smoothly, dry quickly, and usually only need one coat. I then added one coat of Lush Lacquer Salt n Peppa. This polish is packed with glitter, so one coat is all you need. Photos show one coat of top coat.

Pointer:  I used Manglaze Matte is Murder. I stamped on the nail design using Kleancolor White and You Mix Cosmetics Stamping Plate D. Photos show one coat of top coat.

I have another gradient for you today!!!! I love how fun and funky this turned out! I started with three coats of Zoya Mitzi. I have to admit I hated its application. It applied streaky. After two coats, I didn't have full coverage because of the streaks. So I had to add a third--just to make it look even. I applied one coat of top coat because it didn't dry quite matte but yet satin. Nonetheless, I didn't like it.

I used CND Dark Amethyst and The Nailasaurus' Gradient Nails Tutorial to achieve this gradient look.

Of course, I couldn't stop there. I added one thick coat of KBShimmer Clown Puke using the dab method. I LOVE this polish! It is fun and funky!!!!  (I think Christy is working on setting up a new site at http://www.kbshimmer.com/). You can also visit her on Facebook!

Layering more than two polishes is not something I normally do, but I think the end result turned out nicely! I started with a very special franken called Too Blue For You. This polish is a one of a kind polish made for me by my swap buddy Andrea. It has a beautiful aqua/turquoise colored base with pink and silver glitter. This is two coats and one coat of top coat.

I layered on two coats of Sonoma Nail Art Mustard Fields. From the moment I saw Michelle post pictures of this polish I knew I had to have it! It has a clear base with various size and shapes of green glitter! The photos show two coats with one coat of top coat. You can also visit Michelle at her blog! She does amazing freehand nail art!

The next day I decided to add even more glitter!!!!! I added one thick coat of Nostalgic Rio! This polish is perfect! LOVE IT!

Today's post features two polishes made by Nicole from Alta Costura Vernis! First up is Alta Costura Vernis Envious. This polish has a lovely green base with white, yellow, and blue matte glitter. Photos show two coats with one coat of top coat. I am going on day three of wear, and I have almost no tip wear.

The second polish is Alta Costura Vernis Sweet Tooth. This polish has a clear base with purple, pink, blue, and white matte glitter. Photos show three coats with one coat of top coat. This polish is packed with glitter! I recommend waiting for each layer to dry before applying the next coat. I bet this would look amazing layered over a light pink or light blue base color!

Have you tried any Alta Costura Vernis polishes yet?

Hi everyone! This polish is made by the lovely Sana from Glitter Daze! I promise you my photos do not show the awesomeness of it! It sparkles amazingly in the sun! The glitter combo is so unique!

This is two coats of Glitter Daze April Rain with one coat of top coat. "April Rain is a turquoise jelly polish filled with various sized silver, blue, and sea foam green glitter". It is such a unique polish in person! You have to see it in person! I wore it for three days! Application was great and the glitter came out perfectly. Sana shows some layering combos (click here and then view the third photo) that look pretty amazing!

I absolutely LOVE Candeo Dive Bomb! I recently got this polish in a swap, and I wanted to wear it as soon as I opened the mail box!  It glows!

I started with two coats of OPI I Don't Give A Rotterdam.  I followed the gradient nails tutorial posted by The Nailasaurus. This technique is brilliant! If you have trouble doing gradient nails, I recommend this technique. It was my first time trying it, and I was very happy with the results. It was fast and easy!!!! I achieved this gradient look with OPI Russian Navy Seude and OPI I Don't Give A Rotterdam. (Photos show one coat of top coat)

I added just ONE coat of Candeo Dive Bomb and one coat of top coat. The pinch of brown/copper glitter in this polish makes it so unique! Love it!

This is my first real attempt at a splatter manicure, and I did not realize how messy the process was hahah.... It was fun, but messy! I didn't put any tape around my cuticles before starting, which was a BIG mistake. My cuticles and fingers got flooded with nail polish. I spent a good 15 minutes cleaning up. I hope next time my splatters can be more defined and not so big (like my pinky). All I did was dip the bottom of a straw into the bottle of nail polish. Then placed it above my nail and blew through the opposite end. Anyone have any good tips?

I started with two coats of Orly Green Apple! It is the perfect Spring color! For the splatters, I used Sinful Colors Blue By You and OPI Dutch 'Ya Just Love OPI?. For an accent nail, I used Orly Truly Tangerine.

The photo above shows two coats of Dandy Nails Through Glass with one coat of top coat!  (You can visit Sandy on Etsy. She has amazing polishes!!!) This polish has a clear base with holographic silver hexagon glitter and flakes with silver glitter suspended in a clear base. It is a great polish for layering! I decided to wear it by itself with no base color because I wanted to layer more glitter on top! I added two coats of Lynnderella One Nutty Fruitcake with two coats of top coat.

Another unique polish to show you from Alta Costura Vernis!!!!!!! This is two coats of Alta Costura Vernis Zapped with two coats of top coat. I absolutely adore this polish! It consists of matte yellow, blue, pink, and purple glitter! I love how it only took two coats for full coverage. It was LOADED with glitter, but yet application was still easy.  This Etsy shop has some really unique polishes! Nicole plans to open again in about a month!

For all you matte glitter lovers, check out Alta Vostura Vernis on Etsy!

The next day I stamped on this design with You Mix Cosmetics XL stamping plate A and Kleancolor White. I added one coat of Northern Lights holo top coat! You can't see the holo glitter in the photo, but it did look awesome in person! To me, it looks like stained glass!

If you love unique polishes and matte glitter, this is the polish for you!!!! This polish is made by Alta Costura Vernix and is called Electric Eyes. I can see why Nicole named it that! It has lime green and purple small hex matte glitter,  small black square glitter, and matte purple diamond glitter.... It is such an awesome polish!

Application was similar to Humble Bee, Sunny Floam, or Floam. Application was great! It went on with ease, and each layer dried fast for me. I suggest letting each coat dry before adding the next. I only used two coats with two coats of top coat. In person, it looked to be full coverage, so I didn't add a third coat. You can also use this polish as a layering polish!

In the photos you can see "gaps in coverage" but this was not really visible in person. I absolutely LOVE this polish--it is exactly my style. I have almost all of her polishes, and I can't wait to try the others.

If you have a moment, go through her sales. You will fall in love with all of her polishes! She said she is going to stock in 3-4 weeks!

The next day I stamped on this nail design with You Mix Cosmetics XL stamping plate and Kleancolor white. I added one coat of Essie Matte About You.
