As you can tell, I am really loving my two newly purchased Spoiled polishes, I'm So Jaded and Tip Your Waitress. I have used them in the last three manis! The other day I went back to CVS and bought three new ones: a bright neon yellow named Did I Dye It Too Blonde? and two simple black and white polishes named Visually Slimming and Correction Tape. I am still looking for the perfect black and white polish, so I thought I would give these a try. I'll let you know what I think of them! I plan to use them this weekend.

Back to the mani, I think they call this a jelly sandwich. =)

This is two coats of Spoiled Tip Your Waitress, one coat of Icing Lemme See Your Peacock, and then one last thin coat of Spoiled Tip Your Waitress. Photos show one coat of top coat. It was really interesting to see how one final coat of Tip Your Waitress changed the look of the glitter.

I was in the mood for a bold summer mani, so I thought it was the perfect time to try Sarah's (from Chalkboard Nail) Rainbow Leopard Skittle manicure! For this mani, I used Sinful Colors Summer Peach (pinky), Spoiled Tip Your Waitress (ring), Spoiled I'm So Jaded (middle), and Sinful Colors Neon Melon (pointer). I then stamped on the leopard print with Bundle Monster Stamping Plate BM-221 (I think?!?!?  I have three plates with leopard print, and I can't recall which one I used...insert frown) and Kleancolor Black. Super quick and summer fun!

I'm in LOVE with the new Bundle Monster stamping plate set!!!! I received them on Saturday, and I instantly started playing with them! This set is so fun! It even has a gradient and water marble stamp!!! You can check out the plates by clicking here.

I started with two coats of Spoiled I'm So Jaded. My swatch color of Spoiled I'm So Jaded is a tad off, but the color is still awesome and perfect for the Summer! I'm really impressed with the Spoiled polishes. If you haven't tried them yet, I suggest picking up a bottle or two! The brush is the perfect size for my nails. One swipe is basically all it took! The formula was impressive. It was cheap too! I think I'm going back to CVS one day this week on my lunch break for more colors!

I stamped on this design with Kleancolor Black and Bundle Monster Stamping plate BM-315.

Today I want to show you a polish from SoFlaJo's new Life's A Beach Collection! This is two thin coats of SoFlaJo Freaky and Fabulous over two coats Catrice Forget-Me-Not! If you like gold and holo, this is the polish for you! I paired these two colors together because I was going for a Mardi Gras look! I apologize my photos are a little dark, but they really show how much this polish sparkles!

Application of this polish was a breeze! As you can see, a lot of glitter came out with two thin coats! I added one coat of top coat to get a smooth finish!

Jody is really awesome! Her packages always come with fun wrapping and toys! You can visit Jody on her Facebook page.

This polish was sent to me for review.

Today is about a girly gradient! So soft and elegant!

I started with two coats of The Nail Junkie Matte Violet. This polish is a soft violet loaded with a silver shimmer. It dries quickly with the perfect matte finish! Application was a breeze.  I want the other two mattes she has available right now, Matte Rose and Matte Daffodil!  You can also visit Aleta at her blog!

I did this gradient with Catrice Forget-Me-Not! I stamped on the bows with Kleancolor White (my favorite white stamping polish!) and Konad Stamping Plate M59.

Check out this awesome gradient tutorial by The Nailasaurus! I used her technique!

KBShimmer is open for business at her new site!!!!! Take your time and shop because she is open all the time! (of course, pending situations that might arise)

This is two coats of KBShimmer Lilac Dreams with one coat of top coat. Lilac Dreams shifts slightly from a purple to a lovely shade of pink. It has light blue, silver, and black ultrafine glitter.  I think you will be surprised by this one in person!

( It just popped into my head that this might be a good stamping polish. I will try it and let you know!)

The second polish is KBShimmer Cotton Candy.  This is two (maybe three--sorry I can't remember) coats with one coat of top coat. It has a soft pink base with pink, lavender, teal and purple glitters. It is very girly!

Today, I have some swatches from one of my favorite indie brands, Pretty and Polished! Chelsea makes the best polishes! I am so happy I was able to get my hands on so many of them. She recently showed of pictures of a polish coming soon to her shop! The perfect pink and black glitter polish! So edgy but yet so girly. Click here to see it!

You can visit Pretty and Polished at her Etsy shop as well as on her Facebook page.

First up is Pretty and Polished Toy With Me. It is a matte polish with a color changing base. It goes from green to purple and has tiny bits of green micro glitter. I choose to wear it alone with three coats, but you can layer this polish over a base color! If you are not big on matte polishes, you can always add a coat of top coat!

I added one coat of Pretty and Polished Sand Art over three coats of Pretty and Polished Toy with Me. I choose to layer it over Toy With Me because I wanted a lighter base so the matte glitters would really pop! This polish has a clear base and is loaded with green, blue, pink, and purple matte glitter. Jacki from Adventures in Acetone  layered it over black, which I thought was brilliant! Claudia from Holographic Hussy layered it over pink and white, which were awesome combos too! Pretty and Polished Sand Art is a one of a kind layering polish!

Next up is Pretty and Polished Pool Party! The blue jelly base and scattered glitters make it the perfect summer polish! Photos show three coats with one coat of top coat.

One of my favorites from today's swatches is Pretty and Polished Tart! This is three coats with one coat of top coat! I bought this polish over four months ago, and it still applies like a dream! This polish has a sheer light pink base with a purple shimmer. It has a variety of yellow, blue, purple, and pink glitter.

The final polish is Pretty and Polished Phoenix! This is one coat over two coats of Ulta Sun-Sational. I hated this Ulta polish. Application was crappy with it, but what should I expect? Most yellow polishes do have crappy application in my experience. Pretty and Polished is a layering polish with a lightly tinted orange base with red, orange, and yellow glitter.

Yesterday was deemed Holo Hump Day! So I'm a little late with this post. =(

This is two coats of China Glaze DV8 and two coats of Feenix Shake your Tailfeathers! Photos show one coat of top coat! I really like Feenix Shake Your Tailfeathers! I love the combination of green, blue and turquoise holo glitter.

For the first day, I wore China Glaze DV8 by itself. I was disappointed in China Glaze DV8 because it chipped and showed tip wear by the next afternoon. Oh well! No big deal. I did some touch ups with DV8 and added this awesome glitter top coat by Feenix! Mani is still going strong! I'm wearing it right now! Love this glow!

You can visit Feenix Polish on Etsy by click here. She has some pretty awesome polishes!

Check out others who participated in Holo Hump Day!

KBShimmer The Neon Collection + more

I am in <3 LOVE <3 with KBShimmer's new neon collection called "The Neon Collection". I have never seen such bright and vivid homemade polishes!!! This post also contains swatches of five more polishes from her beauty line!

Christy sent me these polishes to swatch for her new website, so I thought I would go ahead and review them as well! KBShimmer is set to open up on Monday for sales on the new website (not on Etsy). Check KBShimmer's Facebook page for updates. You can also visit her on Etsy! She also sells some amazing bath and body products!

First up is KBShimmer Watercolor from The Neon Collection! It has a darker baby blue base with white, silver holo, fuchsia, purple, and blue glitter.  This is my favorite out of the six in the collection. I am a sucker for blues, and this color/glitter combo is amazing. The formula was perfect, and application was a breeze! The glitter came out with no fuss and didn't need any maneuvering. This is three coats with one coat of top coat! Two coats was sufficient.

Next up is KBShimmer Midsummer's Night! The purple is so complex and is packed with glitter!! This glitter combo consists of holo turquoise, matte turquoise (the glitter looks blue in my photo, but it is really turquoise), white stars, white shredded, and a mixture of ultrafine glitters. The formula was a little thicker compared to the others, but I had no issues with application. I got great glitter coverage in two coats! I do suggest adding a couple coats of top coat to get a smooth finish.

Next up is KBShimmer Shattered Hearts! All I can say is WOW! I am quite impressed this is a homemade polish! It is SO bright and vivid! It practically glows in the daylight. The color in my swatch is a tad off. Can you believe this is even more neon in person?!?!?!

The black glitter came out with little effort. As I was applying and noticed a black heart on my brush, I would sit it on the lip of the bottle to use later for placement. I did dig a little for one of the hearts, but the other two came out with ease. This is expected with any large chunky glitter. The photos show two coats with one coat of top coat. However, one coat was sufficient. This polish is really pigmented! If you are a pink and black glitter lover, RUN for this polish come Monday!

Next up is KBShimmer Orange-A-Peel. I am not typically an orange fan, but this polish as well as KBShimmer Orange Pop (swatches later in this post) stole my heart! This polish has a neon orange base with a combination of orange, pink, and white glitter. My swatch color is a little off. It actually has a neon appearance in person. Formula was perfect! Photos show three coats with one coats of top coat.

Next up is KBShimmer Glow Stick, an amazing neon yellow polish with silver holo glitter in various sizes and shapes. The silver holo glitter was awesome because it almost took on a gray appearance with the yellow base! Quite impressive how she pulled this off! Formula was great! Photos show three thin coats with one coat of top coat! This is so bright and vivid in person!

Whats even MORE awesome is that this polish GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! =)

The last of KBShimmer's The Neon Collection is Radioactive (the perfect name by the way. You have to see it in person!). This polish was very difficult for me to photograph. I am not exaggerating. I took over 100 photos and none showed the true neon green that it is (or was even close to showing for that matter)! It was so cool how this polish appeared to change shades based on which type of lighting I was in. My swatches does NOT do it justice. It has the perfect combo if black square, hex, and shredded glitter. It reminds me of Halloween!

Whats even MORE awesome is that this polish GLOWS IN THE DARK as well!!! =)

Another beauty is KBShimmer Berry Patch. The base is a subtle sheer pink with fuchsia, blue and silver holo glitter. So soft and elegant. The formula was great! No issues. Even coverage in three coats. Photos show one coat of top coat.

Another fantastic purple by KBShimmer! This is three coats of KBShimmer Diva! I can see why she named this Diva. It is packed with amazing holo glitter that really sparkles! Application was a breeze! And wow this polish REALLY sparkled in the sun! Very pretty!

If you like blingy, bold polishes, KBShimmer Ice Queen is the polish for you! This is four coats of KBShimmer Ice Queen with two coats of top coat.  I did have to use the dab method on the third and fourth coat to get good coverage, but that is expected. This polish has a clear base and is loaded with lots of silver holo glitter in various sizes! It looked like I had diamond shavings on my nails!

This polish is great for layering. This is one coat of KBShimmer Ice Queen layered over two coats of ManGlaze Matte is Murder. Photos show two coats of top coat.

This is three coats of KBShimmer Orange Pop and one coat of top coat! This polish is so fun and screams summer! It has an orange jelly base with purple, green, red, and orange glitter. The formula was perfect!

Last but not least is one of my favorites out of the 20+ KBShimmer polishes I own! This is three coats of KBShimmer Shipwreck. I previously blogged about this polish, but thought I would add the swatches again to this post. You can click here to see that post.
