Glitter and Bows

This is two coats of China Glaze It's A Trap-eze with one coat of matte top coat. I adore this polish! It reminds me of Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop but with a white base. I was a little disappointed in this polish though. It began to chip for me within an hour or so. I suspect its because of the matte top coat or maybe this polish doesn't work well with my "nail chemistry". I stamped on the subtle bows with Kleancolor White and Konad stamping plate M-59.

Zoya Frida + Pretty and Polished Dalmatian Nation

I really like this layering combo... I started with two coats of Zoya Frida (a greenish jelly), which I did NOT like on its own. So I decided to add two thin coats of Pretty and Polished Dalmatian Nation (I purposely avoided using the large round black glitter in this polish)... I love how it turned out. I like how the green shows through the white jelly base of Dalmatian Nation. Photo shows one coat of top coat.

Christmas Paisley Print

For this Christmas paisley print, I started with two coats of Glitter Gal Red Sparkle. This polish IS the PERFECT red! I absolutely love it! If you are still on the hunt for the perfect red, try this polish. You will not be disappointed. I stamped on the paisley print with Bundle Monster BM-315 and Konad stamping polish in white. I finished with one thick coat of top coat. My top coat faded the white print and made it turn a dull red or muted the white. I think it was because I used an old bottle of top coat.

These will be my nails for Christmas! I hope they last. Merry Christmas! I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Ugly Christmas Reindeer Sweater Nails

I'm really liking my "ugly" Christmas reindeer sweater nails! I started with two coats of ManGlaze Mayonnaise. I alternated stamping the "sweater" pattern with Konad stamping polishes in red and green and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-315. I stamped on the "reindeer" design using the same polishes and Bundle Monster stamping plate BM-214.

Mr. Grinch Nails

Amber from Amber Did It! recently did a Mr. Grinch nail design! It was awesome! If you haven't seen it, click here to see it. I wanted to do some Mr. Grinch nails, but I have no talent when it comes to free handing or using a paint brush. I took the easy route and did a jelly sandwich! 

This is two coats of Pretty and Polished Slime Time, one coat of KBShimmer Candy Cane Crush, and one last thin coat of Pretty and Polished Slime Time. Photos show one coat of top coat.

All That Glitters Goody Gumdrops + Butterfly

 This is two coats of All That Glitters Goody Gumdrops with one coat of top coat. I stamped on the butterfly with Kleancolor Black and Red Angel Stamping plate RA-119. This mani makes me think of the summer time!

First up is a great polish for the holiday season! This is two coats of Nail'd It Rudolf Knows with two coats of top coat. This polish has a lovely red jelly base loaded with fuchsia and red holo glitter. Application was simple, and the glitter applied pretty evenly with no struggle. The formula was great--not too thick or thin.

This is two coats of Nail'd It Light show with two coats of top coat. I like how it has a subtle base color but loaded with pops of funky, bold, neon glitters! The base color is hard to describe. I think it is a mixture of a soft grey and purple... It is loaded with (I would guess) about 20 different glitters. Application was surprisingly easy considering how much glitter is in the polish. I like how it is not overloaded with glitter. There are "gaps",  so the awesome colored base shows through. I am wearing this polish now, and it has a bit of a texture feel. I would suggest using gelous instead of regular top coat.

A quick and easy winter mani! I started with three coats of All That Glitters Cool Yule. I stamped on the snowflakes with Konad stamping polishes in white and dark blue and Konad stamping plate M-59. Photos show one coat of top coat.

My first Christmas mani of the season!!!! I started with three coats of All That Glitters Eggnog Wasted (see swatch below). First I stamped on a swirly design with Konad stamping polish in green and You Mix Cosmetics large stamping plate I (You Mix Cosmetics used to sell stamping plates). On top of that stamped design, I stamped on the striped design with You Mix Cosmetics larget stamping plate I and Konad stamping polish in red.

All That Glitters Holiday, Celebrate Collection

Today I have swatches of four polishes from All That Glitters Holiday, Celebrate Collection!!!!

First up is my favorite of the four! This is three coats of All That Glitters Cool Yule with one coat of top coat. This baby blue applied with perfection! The glitter came out easily with no digging. I like how the glitters are sporadic and not overwhelming so that baby blue base can show. I love the combo of lavender, royal blue and turquoise glitter. It reminds me of winter, ice skating, and snow -- a perfect holiday winter polish!

This is two coats of All That Glitters Goody Gumdrops with one coat of top coat. This polish applied well. The glitter came out in abundance. I adore the pink base with the pop of red glitter.

This one is my second favorite out of the four!!!! This is three coats of All That Glitters Eggnog Wasted with one coat of matte top coat. I had good coverage with two coats but added a third. This polish's white base loaded with green, red, gold, and copper glitter screams Christmas! 

The last polish is a Fall inspired polish named All That Glitters Autumn Bomb. This is one coat over OPI What The Shrek. My photo doesn't show off the awesome copper, orange, green and gold glitters well enough. As you can see, tons of glitter comes out with a single coat. So you can probably wear it on its own.
